Access Gate Frame Assembly

Step-by-step instructions and diagrams to assemble an access gate frame

TOOLS NEEDED

  • Power drill/driver

  • 9/16 inch socket wrench

  • 1/2 inch socket wrench

  • 3/8 inch hex drive

  • Multi-purpse deer fence tool

  • Access gate kit

Assemble gate on a flat surface that is as large as the gate.

PROFESSIONAL DEER FENCE INSTALLER TIP Make sure vertical and horizontal gate pipes are pushed all the way into the gate corners before measuring and sealing screws.

PROFESSIONAL DEER FENCE INSTALLER TIP When fastening self-sealing screws, be sure to fasten the first screw in each gate corner closets to the corner. 

  • Locate top female gate hinge approximately 1 foot down the vertical pipe.

  • Locate bottom female gate hinge approximately 1 foot up the vertical pipe.

  • Gate is now ready for mounting.

  • Make sure mounting gate post has tension to offset the weight of the gate.

  • Install deer fence to gate frame after mounting gate and after all adjustments are made.
